- Learn how to use your camera (done at meeting)
- Take some photos (at meeting or at home)
- Edit the photos using computer software (doesn't have to be anything fancy - but can be if you choose. Some ideas are to crop it so that the focal point is centered or on the side; change it to black & white or sepia; over-saturate the colors or decolor it and make it look like it is tinted; or... My favorite photo editing software is PhotoScape - it is free to download. You can also use an app on your smart phone or iPad.
- Print your favorite photo (we are going to frame it for a Father's Day gift at the June 2 meeting) - print a 4"x6" photo - don't crop it too close to the image, the inside dimensions of the mat is 3.5" x 5", so the edges will not be seen
- Share your photos - Email me your 3 favorite photos. I will post them here on the blog so everyone can see them :)
