It's GS cookie sales time! You will receive a manilla envelope on Monday containing cookie information. It is mandatory, if you daughter wants to sell cookies, that you read & sign the Parent Permission Form and return it to me by Friday, January 13 (our next meeting).
Our troop is going to participate in Presales, Booth Sales, and Operation Cookie Drop:
Presales start Friday Jan. 13. This is the time that the girls go door-to-door selling cookies with a parent chaperone. They can also make phone calls or send emails to people they know. These are presales, and the actual cookies will be delivered in February. Money for the cookies will be collected in February. Each family is responsible for the money until it is turned in to Dana Pigott in February.
Booth Sales start on March 2. We will get our assignments in February.
Operation Cookie Drop is the way people can donate boxes of cookies to military personnel overseas. This is a great way for people to support our girls if they don't want to purchase cookies - we get the credit for the cookie sale, but no boxes of cookies actually change hands.
