Cookie CEO Patch

Sarah Be. has offered to lead the Cookie CEO patch.  She presented to the group at yesterdays meeting, and the group discussed what a small business is, what you need to do to make sales and decided on a group goal.

To complete this patch, the girls have a little homework.  (You can follow along with the Cookie CEO section in the purple binder).
Step 1:  Set a group goal.  Our group goal is to sell 450 boxes of cookies.
Step 2:  Interview someone that owns a small business to find out how it works, what it is like to be in a small business and any tips they have if someone wants to start a small business.  Write it down - it will be kept with the binder.
Step 3:  Create a cookie sale job list.  This will be done at the next meeting.
Step 4:  Learn how to make a good impression.  We will role play at the next meeting.
Step 5:  Track your sales.  Make a graph or chart of your presales to organize your presales.  You can organize them however you want (by neighborhood; how you know the people i.e. family, neighbors, people at parents work, etc.; how you sold the cookies i.e. door-to-door, phone, email, etc.;...)  What worked the best?

Homework is due at the next meeting, Friday Feb. 10
If your daughter would like to lead the group to earn a patch, please pick one from the binder and let me know so I can work it into the schedule.  (I would like each girl to do this - there will be a special patch at the end of the year for each girl who leads one!)
